Clos du Mont Rouge

Wonderful stay at Le Clos Mont Rouge. Emmanuelle was very accommodating, and served a lovely breakfast which included homemade yogurt, homemade jellies made from local grapes, freshly baked croissants, cheese etc. The room we booked was on the ground floor. Spacious and very comfortable, and accessible to the garden. Parking is easy and included. The Carrefour Express (grocery store) is just down the street, super convenient. Hot tip: do the Champagne tasting and cave tour at Alfred Tritant! We definitely would come back for a longer stay.

Wonderful location in the heart of Bouzy and the Champagne region. Very comfortable and uniquely well designed room with a balcony overlooking the vineyards and beyond. Lovely area to sit outside in the garden and beautiful breakfast room. Beds very comfortable and shower/bathroom facilities spacious and well equipped, agian so beautifully designed. Owner very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Good breakfast with lovely fresh pastries and bread with homemade jams (including champagne and a burgundy jams!). Lovely stay, only overnight wish we could have stayed longer

It was extremely clean and just as the pictures shown. The view from our room was gorgeous. The hostess was so friendly and cheerful. She made us feel very welcome.

Our only comment would be about the breakfast. Although nicely presented, it consisted mainly of white bread, pastries and rather uninteresting cheese. A cooked egg, some cured meat and darker, high-fibre bread would have been a welcome addition for those who prefer a savoury breakfast. But the home made yoghurt and grape jams were very nice.
