Sentral Alea Miami

Location was great in relation to the cruise terminal and Pier 5. The view was not great due to construction being done but this was no fault of the property. We did not have the breakfast but did have coffee which was great. Our second stay (post cruise) our room was set up differently and we were not able to watch TV from the bed (not the end of the world) and the couch was a little uncomfortable. There was a wet pillow case left hanging on the coat hook (most likely just washed). The pool area was amazing.

We landed in Miami early but the charge for early check in pretty steep. They were able to hold our luggage so we could explore the city.

Very comfortable modern apartment, kitchen perfectly equipped, washing machine and tumble dryer, free gym and pool on 18th floor, great view from there. Free public transport just beside the hotel. A fantastic Whole Foods market two stations away.

Well, we were on 4th floor, facing a building site, but since we were out all day, it didn't bother us at all. The beds were good, but a bit on the soft side.

The location and the size of the apartment.

We spent three weeks here and, unfortunately, there was no housekeeping service during our stay. This was something we overlooked on our first visit, but considering the price and the length of our stay, we would have expected housekeeping to be provided at least once a week as a minimum. There were two of us staying in the apartment, yet when we arrived there was only one fork available. We went to reception to request another, but were told there were none available. We also found that one of the lamps in the apartment was not working. However, after reporting it using the QR code on the fridge, the issue was resolved the following day. We found the front desk staff to be quite cold and not particularly welcoming, especially when compared with our visit two years ago. On the other hand, the cleaning and maintenance staff were excellent and very helpful despite the language barrier. During our previous stay, the apartment was well stocked, with four of each item in the cupboards. This time, we were fortunate to find just two of each item available. As a result, we found ourselves constantly washing up, even though the apartment was equipped with a dishwasher. > Overall, while there were still some positive aspects to our stay, the level of service and apartment amenities did not match the standard we experienced during our previous visit.
