Staff were polite and they also offered us a free upgrade as we were travelling with family and the original booking was in a different building adjacent to the restaurant and they had loud music. They had a pure veg restaurant that had Italian and continental specials and a completely different set of veg options (we are hard core non-vegetarians but we liked it)

Since you are planning for wider NRI audience below are some of our suggestions. Just a suggestion for the shower area. Since we stay abroad we are used to separation for wet and dry area. It would be really impressive if there’s some kind of distinction between wet and dry area. Also the shower curtain bottom was all brown and looked old. It could have been replaced. The hand wash bottle on the wash basin was broken, it could have been fixed or checked before allocating the room, the toilet cover was loose and needed adjustment each time before use.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. It was hygienic, but there were Spider webs on the bathroom ceiling. But everything else was neat and clean.

Room was clean and well kept...

reception was not greeting anyone.... first impression when you get to any hotel, they greet you with smile....here they were like you are booked and you can stay here that's it....no welcome good morning or anything.... they mentioned you cannot bring outside food specially non-veg which didn't like but i was able to do so and they didn't object (which was nice of them)... they need to work on the hospitality aspect....
