Aathi Resort

Hôtel incroyable, il suffit de 5 min de Tuktuk pour être a trincomalee. Les gardiens et femmes de chambre sont au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et la piscine au top ! Le wifi fonctionne très bien jamais eu de soucis.

Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude mais l’eau est suffisamment chauffée sur le toit la journée pour qu’elle soit chaude en soirée également!

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der sehr schöne und gepflegte Außenbereich. Die Anlage wirkt insgesamt ansprechend und einladend, und der Pool war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr sauber und gepflegt – hier konnte man wunderbar entspannen.

Der Innenbereich ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung und erfüllt seinen Zweck, bietet jedoch noch etwas Potenzial zur Verbesserung. Insbesondere das Badezimmer machte auf uns teilweise den Eindruck, noch nicht ganz fertiggestellt zu sein. Hier könnte mit einigen Details und Nachbesserungen sicherlich noch ein deutlich wohnlicherer und hochwertigerer Eindruck geschaffen werden.

The rooms were incredibly clean and the staff were very warm and accommodating. The pool was a lovely bonus that made the trip even more enjoyable.

Sadly we are not amazed by this “resort”. But what we can say is that the owner is friendly and the room was clean.

There were a lot of points we disliked, for starters no working Wifi. No reception for check-in / check-out. (If you are in luck the owner is there other wise you have to communicate with his non-english speaking guard). There was no food/room service available at the property even though it is located outside the city center and called a “resort”. Some smaller points would be no hot shower water, no kettle for making coffee or tea in the room. There was a TV but it had no signal. When we informed about laundry it would take 2 days therefore being past our checkout date and there was no refill station for drinking water. All together we were just a little bit disappointed. But then checkout did not go smoothly either, since there is no reception the guard would collect the money, but there was no receipt, no communication just the word “money”…
