The location is perfect, centrally located for walking to Bourbon St. or restaurants/bars close by. We were even able to walk to the convention center during Essence Fest. The lobby was a vibe the entire weekend!

Everything was ok

The desk kindly upgraded us to a suite in the newly remodeled 18th floor. The suite was fantastic--clean, roomy and bright with a wonderful view of the Mighty Mississippi! The only negative comment I have i that the bed pillows are very thick and uncomfortable for me. Perhaps others would like them though. We will definitely be staying at Marriott again!
