Scandic Hotel Kristiansund is a good standard hotel as you might expect from Scandic. Good and helpful staff that really let you feel welcome. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room and it was very warm in Kristiansund. Therefore the nights at the hotel was not as pleasant as we would expect. The staff tried to be helpful to provide fans to make it more pleasant.
Breakfast in the morning made up for the uncomfortable situation during the night.

The room facing the port was clean and quiet. From the 5th floor the view of the harbor was great. Breakfast was free and provided a rich assortment of food items. My only complaint was the scrambled eggs were improperly made.

Great hotel, very central. Quiet and good breakfast options. Stayed here a couple of times now when in the area and very much recommend.
