We had a wonderful time visiting the Sassafras Inn. Our host was so good at making sure we had the best information of the area. The historic house was so comfortable and the Magnolia Suite was exceptional! Darren and Jillian are lovely people. Be sure to ask for the blueberry muffins!! We will definitely return to the Sassafras Inn when we are in the area again.

If you’re looking for a nice, historic B&B-like stay in Mena, this is your place. Clean, in-town, safe, and maintained by one of the most gregarious and informative owners I’ve encountered, Darren, this is a hidden gem - a home away from home. Be sure to try the blueberry muffins and head up the ridge for a sunset while you’re in town!
