The hotel building and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor and it was very clean and comfortable. Yes, it’s a little dated maybe but we expected that and given that we only paid £58 for the night, I think value for money was excellent. Staff were lovely, can’t comment on the restaurant or breakfast as we didn’t eat there.
