We love this Japanese themed hotel. The location is cental and the level of services we have received were fantastic. We would select this hotel if we come to Kyoto again in the future.
The hot spring with the rooftop view is also a highlight for the stay.It is an amazing experience.

Rooms are very nice with several amenities but are small as is common in Japan. I stayed in a superior Queen room by myself and I think it would be tight for two. The long bench seating area was nice to have. The bathroom is small and the rainfall shower was excellent. Otherwise the room was quiet and housekeeping was excellent! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. They do have Onsen baths on the 9th floor as well as refreshments and popsicles available. There is also a complimentary happy hour on the roof top with 180 degree views of Kyoto. The location was also great and convenient to get around Kyoto. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

This hotel was by far one of the best I have stayed in. The room was beautiful, with tatami mats and a comfortable bed. The open air onsen was gorgeously designed and a relaxing and peaceful place to spend the evening. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous and modern, and the bar was excellent. The location was extremely convenient.
