Lovely historical hotel near Parliament in Canberra. Let down a little bit by the restaurant an seemed to be quite short staffed when we visited

Loved the Heritage feel of the place.
We stayed in the Heritage king room at the top of the stairs and were only occasionally disrupted by clomping on the stairs, but not woken during the night. Huge room, huge bed, huge shower! Dinner in Chifley's Bar and Grill was just as special with attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere and great food. A fantastic spot tucked away for a weekend, but not too far from anything! First time for me, but won't be the last. We've found out new home away from home in Canberra.
