We had such a delightful stay at the Channel Road Inn in Santa Monica. The room, the staff, the location, and the amenities were all perfect. We felt genuinely cared for by the staff, the property had places to eat and visit in the shade outdoors, and the included breakfast was so clearly made with love. Our room was big enough for my sister and I to share, and even though the inn was clearly full we didn't hear the other guests from our room. The self-parking at no extra charge was very convenient, and it took us just over 5 minutes to walk to the beach (and we were able to cross PCH via the tunnel so it was safe too). We've stayed at several other locations closer to more amenities in Santa Monica, but this topped place them all.

What a tremendous surprise is the Channel Inn. Excellent location in the Santa Monica Canyon. Friendly staff. Fabulous local restaurants. Complementary wine/cheese at 6:00. Wonderful compmtnary breakfast. Accommodations were very personal - made some great acquaintances in the communal areas. Bed and Breakfast style in a 100 year old former mansion. Simply and comfortable accommodations. Very close to palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica. Walk to beach a huge plus. Free parking.
Photo in next page is of the local beach.

A wonderful location and property with beautiful rooms and common area. Breakfast was very good and snacks are available during the day. We came to LA to visit our kids and will definitely stay here again.
