Lovely boutique hotel in a restored building - very nice place to stay!

This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible.
The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced.
Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see.
The downtown architecture is beautiful.
Would definitely return.

Our room was clean with a pretty view of the town square. The beds were comfortable and we had nice bottles of cold water in the refrigerator. Bathrooms were nice and clean but one of them was out of either shampoo or body wash. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, my girls complemented the cook on the eggs stating they were delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
