Although the hotel would benefit from some updating it was really clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and an evening meal plus bar drinks and it was extremely good value for money. The meals were all home cooked and delicious.

The breakfast was fresh. The car park felt safe. The room was clean. One comment, the heating was off and the room felt cool but otherwise we were very happy with our overnight stay. Would recommend to others who are looking for accommodation in Newcastle under Lyme.

The staff absolutely make this hotel, they are so lovely. Friendly and welcoming when you arrive, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Reception, young lady, professional, courteous and a positive attitude.
The kitchen and waiting staff are very pleasant and accommodating with our dietary allergy.
I think there have been some upgrades to the decor since we last stayed and it’s a nice welcoming place to stay.
We will stay again. Thank you to all the staff.
