Hotel Bailli de Suffren

We've stayed here many times and will keep coming back. This is a family owned and run hotel that is kept in perfect condition. The staff at reception is remarkably kind, friendly and helpful (which is not always the case in Paris). A big plus is that the air conditioning system really works (which is often not the case even in more expensive hotels). The rooms are relatively small but intelligently laid out. The bathroom and shower are more spacious and really nice.

This hotel provides excellent value for the price. It's a small, privately owned hotel, in a quiet residential part of Paris. The building has been completely upgraded and is well maintained, The staff are thoughtful and helpful. One extraordinary feature of this hotel is that they have EXCELLENT air conditioning. Paris hotels claim to have AC, but other than in the most expensive places, the AC is usually inadequate. Global warming has made Paris a very hot city in the summer. Being certain of finding a room with good AC is an absolute must. This is my third summer of staying in this hotel and the AC has been consistently great. The only downside to this hotel is that most of the rooms are very small.
