Good location. Room was at the very top of the house so there were lots of stairs to climb as there was no lift. All the hotels in this area have no lifts, so standard for area. Bed was too firm for my liking but was clean. Breakfast was standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff, particularly the receptionist, were very helpful indeed during the visit and also responded immediately when I phoned later in the day after my departure to say I had left my wallet in my room. They searched my room, found the wallet and returned it to me by mail. Full marks!

The only downside was no lift to rooms other than that it was excellent the staff at the front desk were really helpful made you feel at home. The bathroom is small but the shower was top class . I would stay again
