Americas Best Value Inn Phoenix Medford

The hotel was clean and comfortable. During the day there was freeway noise, but by the time most people are ready for bed it subsides and isn’t a big issue (we were on freeway side of building). The only problem we had was the refrigerator in our room. I didn’t realize it was not cooling properly on the second night of our stay. By that time, the food I bring for my special diet needs didn’t seem cold enough for me to eat and I had to throw it away. When we checked out on the 3rd morning the office person was not there, so I left a note to check the refrigerator in our room. Hope that it was repaired or replaced.

This is a less expensive option than Ashland for those who have failed to make a reservation for attending a wedding :) It's an America's Best Value, OK? not Club Med or whatever hotel experience you are supposed to invoke for contrasting a stellar experience with an OK one. The check in was really slow, I don't know if their machine was down for the customers in front of me or what. The first day, the water wasn't very hot. The second day it was better. Take showers in the off hours, I guess. Our room was on the side of the RV park, but it was quiet the whole time so no worries there. You won't regret staying here,

Just needed last minute place to crash halfway down to Bay Area (near Medford) late at night and thankful to find this location available. I had booked on Expedia while driving and inadvertently selected the next evening (pre-paid, no refund) so I called the staff and they were able to switch the booking date for me an hour before we got there. Checked in at 10:30 PM, late night staff very helpful. Wasn't sure what to expect with economy price and near truck stop, but the room was very clean and spacious, AC worked great. Basic amenities but that's all we needed for what was essentially an 8 hour stopover so felt it was great find and would recommend to anyone whose needs match up to this.
