Found this gem on Hotels.com when looking for a one night stay for a football match in Salzburg.
It's about 5 miles from the train station, but easily accessible by the 170 or 175 bus. Uber costs around €25/30
Room was adequate for our needs and comfortable.
Hotel was very clean and well positioned.
The view from the entrance is stunning.

Typical continental and some fried option.
A large selection of choices.
So many cheeses to select from.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
