Hotel clean but outdated. Biggest complaint was air conditioner barely kept room comfortable.

The owner, who oversees, handles the billing, serves the meals, and takes care of all issues, really makes this place worthwhile to stay in. He cares deeply.

Rooms are simple. Breakfast was fine. Restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner. Road traffic can be pretty loud. They give you a code to gain access at nite which seems to mean no one there at nite, not good.

"Friendly people, hotel and rooms were a little dated but comfortable and clean. Very nice food in the restaurant. Handy to the train station and funicular to the old town."
