Pilgrim Hotel

A one night stay plus breakfast. Good. No issues. Not that it was an issue for my stay but for future reference to consider permitting dogs. Maybe allocate some rooms for o/night stay with dogs. Wonderful countryside location. You advertise walks. Missing out on a key £ market!

A very cosy hotel with absolutely fabulous views. The family room was really spacious, with a comfortable double bed and a single, giving us plenty of room to relax. Although the hotel itself is a little outdated, the stunning views more than make up for it and add to the overall charm. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended for comfort and scenery

Great one night stay at the Pilgrim. The room was spacious and clean, albeit a bit faded - the ensuite in particular could have benefited from redecoration. However, it was still good value for money. Dinner was excellent, and far above the usual hotel standard: the crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce is highly recommended and my filled flatbread starter was also very accomplished. The Pilgrim has clearly found itself a talented chef, which makes the hotel very appealing for anyone who values great food. Overall, a great experience and I hope to stay here again soon.
