To reach the hotel you have to drive like an hour in a caracol route over the mountain it is the only inconvenience

What a find! The reviews said that some rooms were a bit tired and the food is good with generous portions.
So I thought I’d take a chance. It was good value especially compared to accommodation in Spain, where I had just been.
The room was excellent - one of the largest rooms that I’ve stayed in. Food really was superb - really well cooked and generous portions. I was able to park my motorbike in a locked compound which has also has a security camera.
The spa had Turkish and Swedish saunas, a small pool and an area to lounge around - great at the end of the day after enjoying the roads. The Portuguese roads!!! Wonderful bends and (in March) very few people on the roads.
And great value.
What’s not to like? All I can say, is what a find – thoroughly recommended.
