I stayed here for work purposes being a short 20 minute commute to Grt Baddow.
My work colleague and I were made very welcome. The place was spotlessly clean. Had a lovely bar downstairs for drinks and pub snacks and did a fantastic breakfast in the morning.. I would recommend the full English although there were alternatives, all in all I had a very good stay. I would definitely return to the Oakland if I was working in the area..

Lovely room which suited the needs for one night, lovely and clean - beds comfy!
Breakfast included which is a bonus. Would recommend and would visit again.

Lovely clean room, we stayed two nights in a family room and had lots of space. Had a lovely breakfast both mornings and the staff were helpful and friendly.
