Beautiful lobby and grounds, short walk along river to the town center and sights. A welcome respite from a long day's travel. Would definitely recommend

It's a beautiful hotel set in a rustic, bucolic setting with a sense of elegance and comfort ... front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous... although well staffed at breakfast in the two mornings we were there, the staff was running around in a flury, setting up tables for lunch as they restricted sitting in a half portion of the restaurant and removing food items from the buffet area for a quick departure from work at the restaurant closing hour of 10:30 ... of perhaps 400 to 500 hotels that I have been in I've never felt so rushed despite arriving there near 9:30 ... otherwise, a beautiful building and relaxing environment... This lovely hotel is in a peaceful location, only a few minutes walk to a beautiful park, as well as restaurants. They have an indoor pool as well as an outdoor one. Be warned that you must wear a swimming cap for the indoor one (:P). The outdoor pool was chilly in June, perhaps because half the pool is in a shaded area for half the day.
