Nice suite for a weekend. Bed was comfy, tub was nice. Be aware that there is no standard shower, only a tub and hand-held (but it worked fine for us). Some nice touches - fresh fruit (yummy papaya!), nice to have a water dispenser since water bottles don't fit in the bathroom sink. Plenty of towels and bedding just right to adjust temperature (I hate it when the only choices are a HEAVY duvet or just a sheet!). We didn't spend too much time there, but if we'd stayed longer than 2 nights, we would have enjoyed having coffee on the lanai in the mornings.
Location is perfect for volcano viewing, just a short drive from the park. The road can be hard to find at night but you get used to it.

Nice clean room in a unique rainforest like setting. Hosts were lovely and provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate, ramen, oatmeal, fresh fruit and a delicious homemade banana bread! The location was very peaceful and we enjoyed listening to nature at night. We were also very close to Volcano National Park!

Delightful - ‘70s funky - very quiet (except for the evening bird that kept us awake until sunrise - fabulous homemade banana bread! - proximity to Volcano Nat’l Park is great - coffee and the morning stroll was great!
