The whole experience was 90% wonderful. The food at The Barn was outstanding. The hotel was clean and inviting. There were many thoughtful touches like the hot apple cider in the lobby and the drink stations on every floor. The only “negative” would be that the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. Our food took a long time to arrive, our waitress seemed harried (not her fault), our bill was incorrect (“it’s been doing this”), drinks also took a while (received 2nd drinks after our food was finished). I understand it can be hard to find staff and there were lots of helpers but I think only 2 waitresses. All this to say I would still recommend the hotel and restaurant to everyone. 😊
