The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. My room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to provide both comfort and convenience

I've stayed in a few Mercure hotels over the years, the quality can vary to say the least, but this is an excellent hotel, fairly centrally located and very nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious and very clean, minimalist in a very good way and clearly very well mantained. The patio area downstairs is very pleasant (especially when there aren't big groups of people being loud, which can happen sometimes). The food in the main bar is excellent; we did not try the restaurant but heard it was very good. Staff were friendly and kindly changed my room for one with better views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
