It's all automated. You get check in via site and receive a door code via text. I had to text asking for the wifi pass, but the replies were prompt.
The bed was so comfortable, I got the best night of sleep in a long time and I'll be ordering some of the pillows and towels online.
The tub is deep and a good soak was therapy for me. There's also a stand-up shower.
The lodge is quieter than a hotel or inn and I could hardly hear other guests, though I still sleep with my favorite sound machine.
It's a little farther from everything (Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake), but the trade-off is the comfortable room.
There's no breakfast, but I usually go out anyway. Check-in after 4:00 pm and check-out by 11:00 am.

It was easy to check in and out. The decor was cute. It was clean, comfy, and cozy and the breakfast was delicious.! We would definitely stay again!
