Hotel Abruzzi

We stayed here for 2 nights and the location is fabulous. We had a fantastic view of the pantheon and walked everywhere easily from the hotel. Our room was clean and functional. The hotel has a set of stairs to get to the small lift and these could use an update. The stairs are stained and worn and during the day have cleaning supplies for the housekeeping staff strewn on them. Small changes to this area would go a long way in improving the hotels visuals for guests. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. However lacked advice for places to eat or visit outside of the usual tourist areas. Breakfast is at a restaurant nearby and was at most okay.

This location was amazing. We were right across the piazza from the Pantheon. Crowded and noisy area, but the windows blocked out most of the noise. Rooms were very small and basic. The only thing we didn't like is that the cleaning staff would start very early in the morning and their closet was across the hall from our room. We could hear them moving things around and talking VERY LOUDLY. That was hard to wake up to every morning. Most of the staff were very helpful and gave recommendations for places to eat and how to get somewhere. This is a very walkable area to get to a lot of places. If you want to go to the Trevi Fountain, go very early in the morning before the crowds.

This hotel was the heart of our trip! It was in a perfect location for me and my daughters to enjoy. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel could not be more central, rome is amazing & the abruzzi was superb.
