Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Scranton Montage Mountain

Great room, good area, amazing staff, will definitely be back!

The hotel location was in a great area, there was lots of food options and shopping. The room is very spacious, especially traveling with teens. The hotel was very up-to-date and clean. The staff was very friendly and informative. The gentleman that checked me in was great and offered a room of the mountains which we appreciate it and gay recommendations to restaurants nearby. The breakfast option in the morning was pretty reasonable, clean and refreshed often. Overall, it was a great hotel to stay in there was convenience to the railroad where we were attending for an event and also the different food options and shopping available around the property was great too.

The property is well maintained. Most staff were helpful. One exception was at check-in. The staff member who was at the front desk on June 25 at 8 pm did not honor our request to accommodate us in a room that she said she was going to have us check in. However, she gave a false statement that those rooms were for people without pets. Well, most of the rooms had pets and the rule was not true. We did not appreciate that at all. The other staff members though were very friendly and helpful. I would have rated this excellent, but that experience was did not help. And yes, I did inform the morning staff and were very apologetic. Other than that, the area is very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We had a late check in and even past midnight the staff was super friendly! Breakfast had a fantastic selection and even chocolate milk for the kids! My favorite part was that this is a dog friendly hotel and although my dog was at home, I loved meeting several new pups!
