If you are staying in Positano, there's no better spot than Bougainville! The location was probably the best part - right in the middle of the mountain, on the main (middle) road, five minute walk down to the city center. It was high up enough the mountain to have a good view and be a little bit quieter, but close enough to everything that the uphill walk was not bad. Room was super nice and clean, and the staff were 10/10. Very accommodating, had great recommendations for places to go and helped us book stuff too. Could not recommend more! Also, the porter service (where the guys take your bags up from the ferry for you) is worth every penny. I believe it was 10 euros per bag - way better than having to lug them up yourself.

We enjoyed our visit very much! Prime location!! Staff very courteous and attentive. They gave great recommendations when asked and very helpful especially when we had to rebook our ferry

The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast room was small but they made sure we got plenty to eat. The location was great, right in the middle of everything.

Wow what an incredible stay at Bougainville Hotel! The room was spacious and clean, the staff was SO friendly and helpful. Very worth booking a porter service through the hotel to bring your bags from the port of you take the ferry in. The breakfast in the morning was so delicious and the view from the Hotel restaurant was amazing. Could not recommend this place enough. They are centrally located to all rest and shops. Great place to stay when visiting Postitano!
