Located in Hofsos, small town, as others have noted, the details says restaurant but there is not one on site or even in the town. There is a convenience store across the street that has pizza and sub sandwiches, that is the only nearby dining option.
The kitchen is nice but small. The whole time we were there two ladies in the other room camped out in it. Be aware also that it's not clear the actual property from the photos but it's the 8th or 9th photo. Not the black house. The rooms are simple but clean. Shower is a little small but you have your own.
The local pool was great, stunning views and a nice little walk after off to the side to view basalt cliffs.

Everything was very smooth...I stayed for only one night, but it was very convenient.

The room and facility was fine, but this small town has very little to offer. We chose Hofsos because of the Sundlaug pool and hot baths, but they were mostly closed for maintenance.
