Safari Lodge

Very cute property in the middle of the action in Seward. Restaurants are close by and so are the Kenai Fjord tour starting points. The executive apartment is very beautiful with fantastic views.

This cabin was beautiful and a wonderful place for my family to stay. It was well stocked, comfortable, and surrounded by a gorgeous forest setting. We truly enjoyed the cabin itself. We did have an issue was the listing description. Based on Expedia, we believed the cabin was located in the harbor area near the Safari Lodge and within walking distance of town and attractions. We were disappointed to learn on check-in that it is actually about four miles from the harbor in a secluded forest setting. The owners did try to provide us with available alternatives, which we appreciated, but none met our needs. The cabin itself was lovely; our concern was simply the lack of clarity in the listing. Since this property offers a very different experience from staying at the waterfront Safari Lodge, it would be helpful if it were listed separately or more clearly distinguished through the description and photo captions, especially since some photos suggest a waterfront location.

The house was really nice, very clean, decorated very nicely and the mattress was amaaazing, so amazing we are going to buy the same one for home! The staff was SUPER amazing and friendly!! Very nice property!!!!! Highly recommended! Just note the house is 15 minutes outside of town, which was not noted on Expedia when we booked it. Not the property’s fault at all, they are working to get Expedia updated again as it did list it before.

Nice and clean room and a nice view
