My wife and I really enjoyed spending July 4th weekend at Gilded. Terrific boutique hotel in the heart of Newport, about a 10 minute walk to the main area of Thames Street and the Wharf. In the other direction, you can walk to the mansions in about 15-20 minutes too. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Parking was super easy. Breakfast was also very nice each morning. We will definitely book again the next time we go to Newport.

What a nice surprise! Gilded felt private like a hotel but comfortable and accommodating like a b&b. Freshly baked cookies, a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. This place is a gem. Great communication from the staff. Walkable location to get restaurants, CoDough amazing cinnamon buns (but will you need them with gilded’s yummy breakfast?!) and in a quiet residential area with ample parking.
