Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.

Such a wonderful and atmospheric place!

The staff and volunteer wardens work so hard to meticulously maintain this beautiful guest house that once served British soldiers during WWI. They also provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast featuring locally made pastries each morning.
I hope to return to Talbot House soon. Thank you everyone for a memorable experience!

A fascinating and unique building. We arrived late but were greeted by one of the volunteers who helps look after the place. It wasn’t quite what we expected, but a great surprise given the building’s history!
