Room was clean and well equipped. Staff accommodating and welcoming.
Grounds are well kept- however Id like to see a few benches outside by the pond and the hotel grounds

Excellent attentive service from a top class receptionist. The hotel is full of character with nice gardens. Food was good. Rooms comfortable despite a creaky bed. Corridors were a little chilly but then I would expect that in an historic building. Overall a great find in a handy location and definitely worth a repeat visit.
