10 / 10Wyjątkowy·lip 2026
We stayed at StayAPT Suites in Alexandria over the 4th of July weekend to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Overall, the property was a good, convenient choice for traveling with our dog.
The Highlights:
Pet-Friendly: It was great to find a place that truly welcomes dogs. We followed the property guidelines to keep him in the back area away from the courtyard. Free parking. That's rare. Quiet and safe area.
Accommodations: Our 2-queen suite was nice, and our dog enjoyed the cool AC during the hot weather.
Staff: The staff we encountered were friendly and nice.
Areas for Improvement:
Check-in Logistics: We experienced a significant delay at check-in. While check-in is scheduled for 3:00 PM, we had to wait until 4:15 PM because the digital key and online systems were not working.
Access Issues: It was quite inconvenient to follow the pet rules while also dealing with access issues. Because both our physical key card and the digital key only worked at the front entrance, we were forced to walk all the way around to the front every time we took our dog out, despite our room and parking being located in the back.
Final Verdict:
This is a great concept and a very convenient place to stay with a dog, but the experience could be improved significantly by fixing the check-in and rear-entry access issues. We would stay here again, but hope for a smoother process next time.

The rooms were very nice and very clean. Several customers were supposed to be able to check in at 3:00 and it was a little past 3:30 and during that time, could not get in touch with anyone inside the hotel for an explanation.
