On bus route to Holy Island. Bus times subject to tides. Close to A1. Rooms are in separate annex next to Inn so quiet. Good car park. Food well prepared and presented with interesting seasonal menu. Good variety of choices for breakfast including excellent veggie breakfast. Recommend.

Right next to the A1, but you wouldn't know it. Welcoming, lovely staff, good food. Lots of walkers and cyclists, good atmosphere, comfortable room, sensibly priced and conveniently located in this special part of the world. Go to Lindisfarne, go to Scotland, explore Berwick and Northumberland - this is the place to do it from!
