We stayed at the Microtel Inn for one night after attending a concert at the Colonial Life Arena, and it was exactly what we needed. The location was convenient, making it an easy drive to and from the venue, and check-in was quick and hassle-free—even after a late night.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed for a restful night's sleep was provided. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was quiet enough to unwind after an exciting evening.
If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable place to stay after an event in downtown Columbia, this is a great option. We'd definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

On arrival people standing outside drinking beer, that put a sour taste in my mouth automatically.
Staff were so nice. breakfast was sufficient.
Floor in room were very dirty, had to wear socks in room and they were black after. Room needs. good mopping.
Shower was very moldy around caulking.
We had two beds, one was so broken when you sat on edge of bed it literally bent down. they need new mattresses.
Cheap for being close to national park.
Would not stay here again, but it worked for our visit.
