We adore The Aerie and stay here every year. Highly recommend! Lovely owners and a beautiful stay just a block or two away from the heart of New Bern. A true gem!

Beth was amazing with her service and helpfulness. She was so patient when we locked ourselves out and needed an umbrella. Breakfast was amazing! We stayed in the guest house which seemed to struggle with AC on the first floor, but the second floor was pretty cool. We saw a cockroach (dying on his back) on the first floor as well, and the jacuzzi tub (jets) didn't work which was a bummer. But it's a great location and super warm innkeeper. I'd recommend!

This property was a delightful place to stay. I have rated as 5-star across the board. The only detraction was that the majority of the house is on a single thermostat, thus you cannot control the temperature in your room and our room was cooler than we would have preferred. We were told that if we were to stay here again, ask about the one or two rooms that DO have a separate thermostat.
