Upon arriving we were impressed with the appeal of this property. The staff were at Reception to meet us. We were given a quick tour of the amenities, and shown to our room which was clean and light. The bathrooms and showers are lovely and there is a separate room with a deep bath. The guest kitchen has set tables, and tea, coffe is available. There is a separate kitchen for meal preparation. The guest lounge is of a period time, with clean and comfortable seating. There is a large lawn and garden area with fruit trees. A laundry area too, with line drying if needbe. The house is over from the Whanganui river, and a 20 min stroll to the city centre. Great paths for running and cycling, with a fantastic playground nearby.

Close to a pleasant little cafe.
Kitchen was available, however I didn't need to use it.
Lovely homelike feel.
