Maple Leaf Inn - Lake Placid

The room was spacious and clean. Recent renovations have clearly made it very pleasant (kudos to the design team for the nice coastal feel!) There was a small microwave, fridge, air conditioner and coffee machine provided in the room - very convenient! Also complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion - really lovely when you're on motorcycles and don't carry many extras! It was a quiet peaceful stay with friendly fellow travelers as neighbors. We booked ahead on Expedia for 4th of July. The self check-in experience was a bit confusing at times, but ultimately worked out great. There were no hitches or hidden fees. Overall very decent accommodations for the price! We would stay here again! Thank you to the owners and staff for making our really enjoyable weekend possible! :)

Our room was clean and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Lake Placid. We had a little trouble with getting in using a passcode, but the staff was very helpful getting that resolved.

We were getting in late from a long trip and leaving early in the morning. We just needed a bed and a shower. This was exactly what we needed at a great price. Being able to pull up right in front of the room, and get in with the access key code provided by staff allowed us to brush teeth and get to sleep immediately. The property is not in pristine condition, and the site's swimming pool was still closed in mid June, but we weren't there to hang out at the motel. There is a lot to see and do in the immediate area.

Basic very clean fit our needs
