If you like old, quaint and quirky then this is the place for you. The proximity to the Loire is unbeatable with beautiful views and walks along the riverside. The room we had (402) was huge but accessed by a very tight and steep staircase. An interesting style of furnishings but the bed was comfy with good linen. The bathroom was also spacious but some DIY to the fixings would help.
The evening meal is served by restauranteurs who are not involved with the accommodation. The food was tasty and well prepared at a sensible price.
Breakfast is plentiful if a little haphazard.

Beautiful rustic hotel with amazing view of the Loire River. I truly felt like I was back in time. I was a bit surprised by the self check in, but figured it out. The hotel restaurant was nice, and many restaurants are a quarter mile walk into town. Excellent breakfast.
