Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo and would absolutely stay here again as a solo traveller. The room is definitely on the smaller side, but it was the perfect size for one person and had everything I needed. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure, it was amazing! The air conditioning also worked really well, which made coming back after a hot day of exploring so refreshing. I also loved the thoughtful amenities. If you forget your skincare, they have complimentary samples available, including face wash, face masks, and even hair elastics. It's a small touch that makes a big difference. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious. I tried both the sea bream and the eel breakfasts, and I highly recommend them. The bathroom was spotless, and the entire hotel felt clean and well maintained. The location is probably my favourite part. It's only about a 4-minute walk to multiple metro lines, making it incredibly easy to get around Tokyo. There are also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so you'll never have trouble finding something to eat. I also appreciated that the neighbourhood isn't overwhelmingly crowded like some of the more touristy areas. It still has that Tokyo city vibe, but it's much more relaxed, making it the perfect place to stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and offered great value. I'd happily book here again.

Excellent location, clean rooms, and fantastic staff.

The staff was very helpful and spoke enough English to help me get by, even when I tried to use as much Japanese as possible. The room was kept very clean and in a pretty nice area with lots of places to eat and drink. Access to the train station was a couple minutes walk to the Hibiya Line, the Hanzomon Line, and the Toei Line. The breakfast was excellent; I had opted for the breakfast tickets, which allowed me to pick a meal from their restaurant on the first floor (I had chosen the Hitsumabushi meal for my first breakfast and the sashimi meal for my last breakfast). Both options were delicious, and there is a third western-style breakfast for those with a limited palette. The room was pretty small, but for a solo traveler I didn’t mind since my luggage was what took up the most space. Upon leaving you also have the option to have the staff call a taxi for you (in case you’re like me and bought too much to carry throughout the subway).

Great place. Room was a decent size for Tokyo. Fantastic connectivity including walking distance to Tokyo Station (20 mins). Very clean and quiet room.
