1. Lake view room has a great view.
2. If you go to 20th floor, you can enjoy nice sea view and mountain view.
3. Go to the beach to walk around. I felt very safe and pleasant to walk beach at night (many people enjoy walking, drinking, listening busking music).
3. You can buy cup noodle at the conveient store in the first floor and eat it at your room (room has a coffee port to boil water)
4. In the first floor, they sell burger set at reasonable prices ($10 or so)
5. For dinner, we went to 20th floor buffet restaurant. Food was so so (quite disappointing quality) but the view was fantastic. About CAD $100. Beer and wine are included in the buffet. Highly recommend this buffet experience not because of food but because of view.
6. Infinity pool in 20th floor looks great.

We stayed just 1 night at the Skybay but had a comfortable night. The room was a deluxe double lake view. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty big and the water pressure was decent. They provide basics like shampoo, soap, but if you want a toothbrush and those items they are available for purchase from the vending machines. We didn't use the wifi so can't say whether it's good or not.
The hotel has free parking and was easy to find a spot. They have a bakery, and CU convenience store in the hotel, as well as restaurants. We didn't use the gym or pool so can't comment on them though I'm sure they're nice.
The beach is literally steps outside and it's a beautiful vibe, especially at night.
Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it for anyone coming to Gangneung.
Thanks!
