Good parking. Nice views and quiet site.
Needed to drive to get to cafe or restaurant - shame it lacked facilities to heat food.

The New Hobbitt Hotel was the first time we'd used a self checking facility and it was very efficient. We didn't really see any staff, other than in passing with housekeeping staff but rooms were very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, water in the newly refurbished bathroom / shower was hot and towels were fluffy.
The bottles of water, instant porridge and croissants were not expected but very welcome. There was plenty of parking.
We would recomend this hotel and would be happy to stay again.
Please note, the route from Sowerby Bridge town centre to the New Hobbit Hotel includes very steep hills and tight corners but the view is worth it!
