Casitas at Capitol Reef

Great place to stay with kids.

Great location and value.

This hotel has a long history and was renovated just three years ago. It appears to be run by a couple who are very eager to be helpful (a photo of them hangs on the wall); the kitchenette is fully equipped—even including a kettle for hot water—and the refrigerator is spacious. The location is superb: right next to Arches National Park and surrounded by beautiful red rock formations. The rooms are spacious, too. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; I could hear the person in the next room snoring all night long.

Very good location in the town of Torrey just 15 mins from Capitol Reef National Park. Simple check in process and large clean modern rooms. Outside communal area to enjoy a drink and chat.
