Great old hotel in uptown Butte. Walking distance to several restaurants and pubs.

Easy to find with easy parking. the motel was a clean, basic room, perfect for a night on the road. We stopped in Butte because it was a logical stay on our road trip. Now, I am intrigued by Butte and its history. We drove around the next day looking at the historic buildings and imagining this town in its hay day. I regret not having time to go to the museums or walking tours. If I drive this way again, I will plan to take a day and explore the area. I read a lot of Wikipedia pages to my husband as we thought of questions about the mining and history of the area

Was hoping to stay in one of the historic rooms of the main building but they were booked, so we pent a night at the motor lodge and was very impressed! Very comfy beds! The check-in process went so smoothly with the most friendly staff and the lobby is beautiful.
