An old school travel hotel with a nice onsen. This was a great jumping off spot to see Lake Mashu observatory, drive down to Sunayu Onsen and dig your own onsen, etc.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was traditional Japanese breakfast. Overall, nice and easy stay.

I booked this randomly and was super impressed with this. The photos online don’t do it justice. Super value for money, great facilities and food.
