The cedar wood had great parking, the location is prefect bc it’s quiet but not too far to walk to downtown.
The room was very clean!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. She took time to go over maps and make suggestions.

What a hidden gem. This property felt like home. The owners took every opportunity to add detail and charm. They clearly take a tremendous amount of pride in their little motel and were very friendly. I would stay there every time in Deadwood. Just perfect

Outstanding place to stay. Cozy, comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe. The perfect base camp for local adventuring. Staff is helpful and there’s a guidebook for the area in the room. Did I mention clean? The room, the grounds, even the parking lot; everything is well maintained and tidy. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Everything was as good or better than expected. And it’s pretty walkable to anything in town, in my opinion.
This will be my first choice next time I’m in or near Deadwood.
