This room was gorgeous. The details made us feel special. The book nook, reading area, chocolates on the pillow and herbal teas were treats after a long travel day. The hotel is a short walk from Lake Zurich, which has a lot of dining options. Lake Zurich is gorgeous, utterly gorgeous.
Notes: breakfast is offered for a fee on the weekends, but there is a cafe a very short walk away. You can park on the grounds for a small fee, but there is also public parking. Most places take credit cards

The reason I am giving this 4 stars (when normally it would have been 3) is because we booked it for the price, knowing to set our expectations reasonably low. Indeed, it was a good amount of space for the price. However - staff were incredibly rude, check-in was tricky, and the navigating the nearby train station was difficult because there were no elevators. People actually live within the same building, so you need to realize that you are a tourist within their actual housing. I would not book this again, but I feel that for groups needing more beds, the value is still good compared to other nearby options.
