Property has recently been renovated and is clean and functional. Room was basic but comfortable. Clean cotton sheets were a lovely bonus in the heat. Breakfast was good. Only negative was that we had chosen this hotel as there was parking on site but when we arrived there was none left.

I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino.
